A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr Software Developer
. Position type: Full Time, Direct Hire
Location: Remote; preferably Alabama or the Southeastern region
As a
S r Software Developer. , you will:
- Design architectures, including the software, hardware and communications, to support the total requirements, as well as to provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Architect and develop robust Java applications, ensuring seamless integration across systems. Design software solutions for deployment to Azure cloud environment resources.
- Interacted with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction. Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
- Develop high-level system design diagrams for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
- Develop and implement moderate to complex web applications on one or more platforms. Test, code, and debug new software and make enhancements to existing software according to specs.
- Performance maintenance on existing software products. Assist in the development of user manuals.
- Plan and manage implementation and integration of new technologies.
- Solve highly technical and complex problems on multiple projects and provide consultative support to internal staff. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another CS related field
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Quick learner who can master and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision and a flexible positive attitude.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Test Driven Development experience.
- Senior level Object-oriented design skills
- Develops solutions requiring analysis, algorithms and research
- Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area
- Works on one or more projects as a project team member, and occasionally as a team leader
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate strongly preferred
- Experience with high scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation strongly preferred
- Strong experience in microservices architecture and API design preferred
- Understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability preferred
- Experience debugging distributed systems with high data loads preferred
- Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment preferred
- Experience in the design, development, and implementation of unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development preferred
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies preferred
- Experience writing SQL queries for RDBMS is strongly preferred
- Experience with the following technologies and or environment strongly preferred: Java, Spring, JSON, XML, REST, MySQL Database, Distributed System, RDBMS, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns, JavaScript, ReactJS, GWT, Linux, Windows, HTML, CSS, SQL (MySQL), Azure Cloud, Ruby, ReactJs
- Seven (7) or more years of IT work experience in software development, installation and modification in an online environment desired
- Machine Learning experience preferred
