If you want strong mentorship, project variety, and room to advance, this is a great opportunity.

About the Work
You'll work on a mix of commercial, aviation, institutional, mixed use, and high end residential projects. The firm handles both new construction and major renovation work, giving you exposure to different materials, systems, and design challenges as you build your technical range.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
  • Build models, run calculations, and prepare drawings and technical documents
  • Coordinate with architects and other consultants through design and construction
  • Support construction administration with field walks and resolving site issues
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to refine design approaches and maintain quality
  • Grow into taking ownership of portions of projects as you gain experience

Requirements

  • Master's degree in structural engineering
  • EIT required, PE preferred
  • Experience with a range of building types such as commercial, aviation, institutional, or residential
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and building codes
  • Familiarity with tools like ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, RISA, or similar programs
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks

Why This Firm Stands Out
You'll join a respected, stable team with a strong reputation for thoughtful engineering and complex design work. The culture is collaborative, mentors are accessible, and there's real opportunity to take on more responsibility as you grow. You'll contribute to meaningful projects across Los Angeles while building a long term career.

If this sounds like the right fit, don't hesitate to apply.
