Position Overview:

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards, as well as legal and company compliance, as you assist in the preparation of prescriptions in a variety of settings.

What You'll Do:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions in compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Process and verify prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient and medication information.
• Maintain comprehensive patient profiles, including medication histories, and perform necessary drug calculations.
• Clarify or modify prescriptions by communicating with physicians' offices when needed.
• Dispense and manage controlled substances, maintaining accurate logs.
• Prepare medications by pre-packing, filling, and accurately labeling products with cautionary instructions.
• Perform final checks on dispensed medications, ensuring accuracy against physician orders and Medication Therapy Management protocols.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and removing expired items.
• Maintain optimal storage and security for all pharmaceutical products.
• Provide direct support by answering calls and responding to inquiries from patients and pharmacy technicians

What You’ll Bring:

• License: Active and in-good-standing Montana Pharmacist License
• Education: Pharm. D.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred but new grads welcome
• Screening: Must pass a background check, drug screen, and health screening
