About the Role

We are currently looking for a Distribution Specialist to join our distribution facility location in Madison, WI. Reporting to the Distribution Coordinator, this role will be responsible for accurate and timely shipping and receiving of Semex's products to our international sales network. You will be working closely with our distribution and customer service teams. This is an in-person role requiring 5 days per week and reflects future hiring needs.

The compensation range for this position starts at $21.00 per hour and is based on applicable experience and qualifications.

What You Will Do:

• Packing international orders for Semex's genetic products (semen and embryos), in accordance with internal procedures and CFIA/International regulations
• Safe handling of liquid nitrogen for use in specialized shipping tanks
• Preparing advertising and equipment shipments
• Maintenance duties related to ensuring shipping tanks are inspected, disinfected and in good condition

What You Need to Succeed:

• Post secondary education is preferred along with good communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Ability to move containers weighting up to 120lbs/55kg, lift up to 70lbs/32kg, and strong manual dexterity is required
• Hard-working self-starter
• Eager to learn many facets of our Distribution system
