Genesis Staffing is seeking a talented and professional Dispatch/Admin to join their client's team in Bossier City, LA! This is a full time opening working a minimum of 40 hours per week, hourly pay is $18.00/hr.The Dispatcher/Office Admin responsibilities are as follows: - Daily efficient dispatching of crews to jobs within the market area.
- Back-office communication with customers, construction managers, project managers and construction supervisors in support of field operations.
- Dispatchers should have experience in data entry, and the ability to communicate clearly and cordially with customers via digital correspondence.
- Attention to detail is a must, Microsoft Office experience is required for daily activities.
- Provide administrative support to the team, scheduling meetings, etc.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical/paper.
- Coordinate procurement of office supplies and equipment maintenance.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties.
- Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed, perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass drug screen and background check
Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Physical Requirements:- Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions.
- Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
- Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
- Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg.
- Walking: Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements
