Salary: $80,000 – $90,000

About the Role

A client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and coordinate order fulfillment. This is an onsite position in Richmond, VA . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at managing multiple facets of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing standards and procedures.
• Ensure peak warehouse efficiency with customer satisfaction as the primary goal.
• Develop systems for product handling, storage, inventory, and shipping.
• Utilize ERP platforms (SCM+ or similar) for warehouse operations and reporting.
• Train and lead the warehouse team to meet short- and long-term goals.
• Oversee daily operations, inventory control, and logistics.
• Prepare workflows, staffing plans, and equipment layouts to meet productivity standards.
• Supervise activities including QA, space management, shipping, and customer service.
• Schedule and manage team workload to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Inspect equipment and oversee maintenance as needed.
• Manage logistics for product transportation and coordinate with drivers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager managing hourly employees.
• At least 1 year of ERP experience for warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across all levels of staff and deliver effective feedback.
• Proficiency with SCM+ or similar ERP systems.
• Forklift license required.
