MEP Superintendent – Data Center Projects – 2 year project

We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to support large-scale, mission-critical data center construction project in Chicago . This is a hands-on, site-based role) overseeing daily MEP field activities and coordinating closely with contractors and trades to ensure safety, quality, and schedule performance.

The business are building a true hyperscale facility and looking for someone to oversee the build and work with subcontractors to ensure the facility is built on time, in budget and within the right quality measures.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years as an MEP Superintendent on hyperscale or mission-critical data centers
• Proven hands-on experience with liquid cooling systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems
• Experience managing fast-track projects and multiple MEP trades
• Solid understanding of QA/QC, commissioning, and field coordination
• OSHA 30 certification required

Responsibilities

• Lead daily onsite MEP coordination and field supervision
• Oversee installation and integration of MEP and liquid cooling systems
• Enforce safety, quality, and schedule compliance
• Conduct site walks, inspections, and coordination meetings
• Resolve field issues in real time and support project milestones

This will be a 12-24 month long contract with high chance of extension, paid on a W2 or C2C.

This role suits a proactive, field-driven leader with deep data center MEP experience and the ability to manage complex installations under demanding schedules.
