Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

Location: Elmhurst, NY

Duration: 13+ weeks (Possible extension based on performance)

Schedule: 5 days/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including alternating weekends & holidays)

Training: 2 weeks (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, includes EPIC training)

Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour (Weekly pay)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) to join our team in Elmhurst, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing general ultrasound procedures in an acute care setting. This is an on-site position with no virtual interviews.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician requests.
Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and patient safety standards.
Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required.

Requirements:

Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of general ultrasound experience.
Setting: Experience in an acute care environment is required.
Availability: Must be available for in-person interviews only.
Schedule: Able to work 9 AM–5 PM shifts, including alternating weekends and holidays.
Training: Must complete a 2-week training period, including EPIC system training.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly pay: $65 – $68/hour
Weekly pay schedule
