Position Overview

Sunflower Communities – Elmore Assisted Living is seeking three dedicated Lead Caregivers to join our compassionate care team. We are hiring one lead for each shift — Day, Evening, and Overnight — to provide hands-on care, support our residents, and mentor team members. The Lead Caregiver ensures residents receive consistent, person-centered care while maintaining a warm and positive community environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents in an assisted living setting
  
• Lead and mentor caregiving staff during assigned shifts, ensuring a smooth flow of care
  
• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication support
  
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for residents and staff
  
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  
• Complete accurate documentation and assist with administrative and shift transition tasks
  
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
  

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience required; CNA certification preferred
  
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and support a team
  
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or behavioral health is a plus
