⚙️ Safety Manager – Workplace Health & Safety

Location: Taylor, Texas

Employment Type: Full-time | Contract

Pay Range: $87,500 – $125,000 per year

Work Setting: In-person

About the Role

A well-established organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Manager to oversee and enhance its workplace safety programs.

This role is critical in ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations , promoting a proactive safety culture, and minimizing workplace risks. The Safety Manager will work closely with leadership and employees to maintain a safe and productive environment while driving continuous improvement in safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Design and deliver training programs for employees on safety practices, emergency response, and first aid/CPR.
• Investigate accidents and incidents , determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management to strengthen occupational health and environmental safety (EHS) programs.
• Oversee workers’ compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant laws and procedures.
• Stay current on EPA and environmental regulations affecting workplace safety.
• Prepare and present detailed safety performance reports for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards , workers’ compensation laws , and EPA regulations .
• Certification or proficiency in first aid and CPR .
• Experience in manufacturing environments with an emphasis on occupational health and safety.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills .
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated success in developing effective training programs .
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
