This position oversees all activities related to purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory oversight, and end-to-end supply chain functions for products used across the organization. The individual in this role ensures materials are sourced efficiently, deliveries meet operational timelines, and stock levels remain aligned with business needs to support ongoing demand.
Primary Duties:
• Oversee procurement for key product lines with a focus on consistency and reliability.
• Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues affecting quality, timeliness, or service.
• Maintain proper inventory levels across multiple sites to support operational and sales requirements.
• Review historical usage patterns and seasonal trends to anticipate future purchasing needs.
• Manage transfers and restocking between locations to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support scheduling, delivery accuracy, and operational flow.
• Troubleshoot supply interruptions and promptly communicate relevant updates to leadership.
• Monitor and report on purchasing indicators, including pricing changes, inventory metrics, lead times, and vendor trends.
• Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure procurement strategies align with broader business priorities.
• Assist with new product introductions, supplier transitions, and process improvements.
• Provide timely updates on product availability, pricing shifts, and supply considerations.
