Highly successful radiology practice in eastern North Carolina is seeking a physician assistant to join their growing team! Candidates may have a background in radiology and have experience working in the interventional radiology field as a PA, and the group is also very willing to hire and train candidates without radiology experience and they have an excellent track record with onboarding new graduate PAs as well.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Vascular and Interventional Radiology
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Collaborate with a strong group of board-certified fellowship-trained radiologists and work alongside a team of established APPs
• Outpatient clinic duties and hospital rounding
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, injections, and more
• Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
• Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
• Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• North Carolina Physician Assistant License
• BLS/ACLS Certified
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with EMR systems
