Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960

Shift: 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 7 days on / 7 days off

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: $60

About the Role:

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a travel contract at a leading hospital within Atlantic Health System. This position plays a critical role in supporting inpatient pharmacy operations, clinical review, medication safety, and multidisciplinary care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient profiles to ensure appropriate therapy based on patient-specific data including diagnosis, labs, age, allergies, and more
• Transcribe, verify, and process medication orders accurately and timely
• Dispense medications and IV therapies while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimal patient outcomes
• Check automated dispensing cabinets, unit dose, repackaging, emergency kits, IV admixtures, and crash cart trays
• Perform and supervise aseptic sterile compounding including chemotherapy
• Provide medication-related guidance to physicians, nurses, and allied staff
• Initiate clinical interventions, participate in improvement projects, and support departmental initiatives
• Assist in the training of new staff, students, and residents while maintaining ongoing clinical competency

Required Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active New Jersey Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2+ years preferred)
• Prior oncology/infusion center experience a plus
