About Momentum Education:
Momentum Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping first-generation, low-income students access and complete post-secondary education—whether that is a four-year degree, a two-year degree, or a vocational certification.
In high school, Momentum supports students by offering weekly career webinars, monthly field trips, and on-campus SAT preparation. Each high school site has a full-time High School Advisor who teaches SAT Reading and Math and guides students through our curriculum.
After high school, students are paired with two mentors:
These mentors provide ongoing support to ensure each student thrives academically and professionally.
About the Position:
Momentum Education seeks a passionate, detail-oriented individual committed to expanding post-secondary access and success. The Operations Coordinator will provide administrative and logistical support to the Executive Director and Senior Operations Manager.
This part-time, in-person role is based at MacArthur High Schoo l (4400 Aldine Mail Rte Rd, Houston, TX 77039) and reports to the Senior Operations Manager. The position requires on-site work Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and is paid hourly at a rate of $20/hour . This position is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit operations, education, or program management who wants hands-on experience supporting a growing organization. This position is an Independent Contractor position.
