Title: Men’s Assistant Designer- Knitwear, and Cut Sew Knits

Location: New York, NY

Salary- $70,000+

Overview 

Our client, a rapidly growing men's/ boys knitwear brand, is currently looking for a talented menswear designer with 3 plus years of experience designing sweaters and cut sew knits to join their team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct research, identifying trends, maintaining brand strategy, and executing the design process and merchandising objectives with the team
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and approval of designs.
• Create detailed tech packs, and CAD’s utilizing photoshop Illustrator 
• Review and approve samples, fabrics, and color standards.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and PLM
• Strong passion for menswear
• Having private label experience with Target, Kohls, and Walmart is a plus 
• Knitwear and Sweater knowledge
