Job Description

A food manufacturing company is seeking some Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians to join their team in Garden Grove, CA . This position is responsible for support of production and logistics through repairs, adjustments and improvement of utility equipment. A high school diploma, 2-3 years of maintenance technician experience, ability to lift 50lbs, ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams, basic knowledge of foods safety, and the ability to read and understand machine manuals written in English or Spanish. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k. Spanish is a big PLUS but not mandatory. **Only 3rd shifts are available: 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM)**

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Duties:

-Respond to service request from Production and the other departments

-Perform appropriate trouble shooting, repair or improvement

-Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment

-Improve production efficiency, energy consumption, amount of waste, maintenance cost, work safety and work environment with continuous effort

-Communicate with shift supervisor and coworkers to complete work order

-Maintain tools, machine parts, supplies and workshop well

-Input Work Orders using CMMS (eMaint)

-Manage and operate utility equipment including but not limited to electric switch gears, boiler, air compressor, chiller, ventilation

-Conduct company project helping maintenance manager and related department.

-Regularly checking machinery and equipment for wear and tear, potential issues, and compliance with safety standards

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Skills:

-Must have a high school diploma

-Must have 2-3 years maintenance technician experience

-Must be able to read and understand machine manuals written in English or Spanish

-Must be able to drive a forklift and aerial work platform

-Must have ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams

-Must know foods safety basics

-Must be able to lift 50lbs
