Role: Manhattan WMS Techno Functional consultant
Location: Ft. Worth, TX
Top 3 Skills:
1. 9-12 years of experience in Manhattan WMS projects
2. 2-5 years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Manhattan WM Active including integrations with ERP and other supply chain systems.
3. 2-3 end-to-end full lifecycle implementation of MAWM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess client business requirements and opportunities.
- Work closely with senior leadership to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Lead design, configuration, implementation, and support of Manhattan Active Warehouse Management Systems.
- Analyze and optimize components of the solution to take advantage of best practices.
- Work with all appropriate parties to effectively estimate project timelines and deliverables.
- Recognize and highlight incremental improvement opportunities.
- Write functional and mapping specifications for modification, interface, report, and label requirements.
- Develop and test extensions in ProActive. Develop different types of extensions for minor MAWM enhancements, such as: UI Extensions, Entity Extensions, Backend Services or User Exits and Backend Asynchronous Events.
- Troubleshoot and identify root cause for issues. Liaise between Business and Product Vendors (MHE, Kronos, etc) for coordination of issue resolution.
- Test and deploy software deliveries from Manhattan Associates.
- Coordinate with offshore resources, conduct handshake meetings and assign work to ensure development and other deliverables are worked upon during offshore hours.
- Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to improve system design and efficiency
- Ensure all IT systems meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
- Influence major business systems design decisions impacting organizational efficiency and long-term goals
- Play a key role in defining the technical direction for IT systems and projects across the organization, making strategic decisions regarding IT system architecture, technology adoption, and project direction.

- Skillsets:
- Good experience in ProActive development.
- Good experience in Postman Tool, REST APIs and JSONs
- Good experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment of Manhattan Active LM, Slotting, MHE/WCS integration & SCI reporting.
- Good experience in developing new labels and reports or customize the base reports and labels available using JasperSoft Studio, Apache FreeMarker and Apache Velocity templates (Java based open-source engine).
- Ability to train end-users and super users on Manhattan Active WMS functionalities, provide ongoing support, and document best practices.
- Experience with continuous software updates, cloud-native architecture, and leveraging AI-driven features for real-time inventory visibility and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or support successful Manhattan Active WMS deployment projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, logistics) and managing change effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies as applied to Manhattan Active WMS projects.
- Experience in interfacing third party logistic providers (3PL) warehouse management / warehouse control systems with SAP ECC is an advantage
- Experience in implementing and supporting warehouse automation capabilities (Knapp, Auto Store, Geek+) is preferred
- Proven Experience leading/supporting processes with desire for simplification and standardization, detailed process analysis and design, system architecture, technology standards, CSV, GXP and SOX requirements, knowledge of Supply Chain practices or Application implementation practices and proceduresYears of Experience:12.00 Years of Experience
