Bachelors degree (Supply Chain, Logistics or Business)

Demonstrated analytical skills through coursework or position

6months plus of some Logistics/Supply chain related work

Strength with verbal and written communication skills, with focus on interpersonal skills

Job Description

This role is responsible for scheduling fuel deliveries to a network of close to 3,000 stations, ensuring reliable and efficient distribution across a multi-state territory. The position requires strong coordination skills and collaboration across multiple areas of the supply chain, including station demand forecasting, volume allocation, terminal supply, and carrier management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize inventory management and optimization tools to support efficient scheduling of more than 2.5 billion gallons of fuel annually.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules for over 300,000 loads per year across 22 states , aligning station demand with available manpower and equipment from company and third-party carriers.
  • Balance product volumes from a network of 230+ terminals and 75 suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and operational efficiency.
  • Develop an understanding of economic and operational factors influencing delivery and supply chain decisions.
  • Demonstrate a Guest In Mind approach in all customer interactions, providing exceptional service as part of the Central Scheduling team.
  • Collaborate professionally with fleet supervisors, drivers, and carrier partners to ensure smooth delivery execution.
  • Identify and assist in resolving loading or scheduling issues that impact delivery timelines.
  • Communicate supply disruptions or delays promptly and effectively to customers.
  • Recognize process inefficiencies within scheduling operations and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
