Job Description

Ascendo Resources is partnering with a growing law firm client that is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations for their office in Charlotte, NC.

This role is ideal for someone looking to begin or grow their career in the legal field. The Junior Office Assistant will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide office administrative support
  • Accounting and billing processing for attorneys
  • Marketing efforts for law firm
  • Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing case files.
  • Maintain office supplies, restock inventory, and help keep common areas organized.
  • Assist with client intake tasks, including collecting basic information and preparing initial documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or administrative training preferred.
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping experience REQUIRED.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); willingness to learn legal software. Solana experience is a PLUS!
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, and a positive attitude.
