Job Description

Title: Full Stack Engineer

Duration: 2 year contract

Pay Rate: $40-50/hr

Location: Monroe, NC (On-Site / Wednesdays remote)

Role Overview

The Full Stack Engineer is focused on ASP.NET with a heavier backend emphasis. You’ll design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications and services, primarily within the Microsoft technology stack. The position centers on .NET Core backend/API development, with flexibility on frontend technologies (React, Angular, ASP/MVC, or Glazer).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop server-side applications and APIs using C# and .NET Core/6+.
  • Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs for system integrations.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers (React, Angular, ASP/MVC, or Glazer).
  • Maintain light frontend components as needed.
  • Manage cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure services.
  • Maintain relational database structures (SQL Server, Azure SQL).
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews).
  • Troubleshoot application and database issues.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement and modernization.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET Core/6+.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD automation (familiarity required, not pipeline building).
  • Familiarity with React, Angular, ASP/MVC, or Glazer for frontend work.
  • Experience developing and deploying cloud applications using Azure.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and ORM tools (Entity Framework Core).
  • Understanding of modern software design principles, testing practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Experience with DevOps practices.
  • Building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
