Compensation Information Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience
- Electronic Technician I: $22.16 - $39.89/hourly
- Electronic Technician II: $24.34 - $43.81/hourly
- Electronic Technician III: $28.02 - $50.43/hourly
- Hotel accommodations for 60 days for employees relocating to Williston, ND area.
- Starting schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off 12hours/day *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.
- Employees are responsible for their own travel to and from Williston, ND for their work rotation as well as their own transportation to and from the Halliburton facility for each workday.
Job Description Job Duties: - Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location.
- Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
- Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints.
- Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware.
- Must possess advanced computer literacy.
- Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record.
- This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities.
- Performs own work and assists others as directed.
- Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
- Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
- Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
Qualifications: - Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in an electrical field are required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
- Preferred Qualifications include an A.S. degree in Electronics Technology or IT/Networking
- Experience in electronic controls, sensors, and computers required.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Electronics Technician II and Electronic Technician III.
