Job Description

We are working with the CFO of a stable, well-known regional bank based out Bergen County, NJ. They are looking for a dynamic Controller to join the team and lead the financial operations. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Interact with Executive management along with business lines and department heads in communicating, informing, and advising on financial reporting matters.
• Leads a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations within the accounting department.
• Own the preparation, monitoring of the ongoing performance (i.e. comparison and analysis of actual financial results vs. operating plan) of the Annual Budget (Operating Plan).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Controllership experience within Banking industry OR banking clients within Public Accounting
• Corporate Accounting and FP&A experience
• Exposure to Call Reporting

COMPENSATION:

$175,000 - $225,000 + Bonus
