Job Description

With a well-established presence in the South Florida area, this is a commercial general contractor seeking someone like you to be a Commercial Superintendent to lead high-end interior and renovation projects or high end ground up construction throughout Broward County. This role is ideal for a Superintendent who thrives in active, client-facing environments and has delivered detail-driven hospitality and amenity spaces.

Project Types

• Upscale restaurants and hospitality interiors
• Luxury gyms and fitness concepts
• Private country clubs and member-only facilities
• High-end commercial renovations and build-outs

Projects are local, fast-paced, and require strong coordination in occupied or partially occupied spaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations from mobilization through close-out
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries
• Maintain schedules, quality standards, and jobsite safety
• Communicate proactively with ownership, design teams, and vendors
• Anticipate constructability issues and solve problems in real time
• Lead clean, professional jobsites that reflect premium work

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects
• Proven background in hospitality, fitness, or private club environments
• Strong understanding of high-end interior finishes and sequencing
• Experience working in live environments with discerning clients
• Familiarity with South Florida subcontractors and inspection processes
• OSHA knowledge and strong safety leadership
