Title: CDL Class B Driver
Location: Rally point in Mahwah, NJ w/ local routes around the NYC-Metro area
Salary: $60,000
Benefits: Health plan available as well as paid holidays, vacation, personal, and sick
Work Schedule: Usually a 7:00am/8:00am start and a 4:00pm/5:00pm finish (will occasionally require flexibility during busy seasons)
Position Type: Direct-Hire/Permanent (no temp or contract)
Overview: Local department store chain hiring licensed CDL-Class B Driver for local routes in the NYC-Metro area. The role will rally in Mahwah, NJ each morning and they will return to Mahwah, NJ HQ each night. EZ Pass Provided and Gas Card 100% paid for and provided by the company.
Responsibilities:
-Local delivery routes through NJ, NYC, Brooklyn, and Surrounding NYC Metro area
-Operate the vehicle safely obeying all traffic laws
-Follow an assigned route to multiple pick up and drop off locations
-Vendor pickups will load the truck most of the time
-At customer sites using a pallet jack to unload and delivery the items being shipped
Requirements:
-Valid CDL Class B license
-Experience driving local routes in the NYC-Metro area
-Presentable and able to communicate professionally and nicely with customers and vendors
