Hiring a Business Analyst with experience in Fintech or the Financial Services industry & process mapping experience
Onsite: M-F in Downtown St Pete
Compensation: $90,000-95,000 + 15% yearly bonus
medical/dental/vision options, pto, 401k match Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve product features and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Map current & future-state processes, identify inefficiencies
- Assist QA and UAT processes by reviewing test cases
- Data analysis to identify trends, measure process performance
- Generate reports and dashboards
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Fintech or Financial Services industry
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping, process improvement, and operational optimization.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Excel, SQL).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves: - Experience working with APIs, digital wallets, payment portals, or blockchain
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
